Dr. Christopher Saunders is an expert in the field of cosmetic surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and practices exclusively cosmetic surgery. Dr. Saunders grew up in Wilmington, Delaware. He graduated cum laude from Tower Hill School. Both his parents were from England and immigrated to America in the late 50s.  Dr. Saunders' father was also a plastic surgeon and the first board certified plastic surgeon in Delaware.  In addition to his father, Dr. Saunders also has a brother who is a plastic surgeon.

Dr. Christopher Saunders attended Duke University graduating magna cum laude in 1984.  His medical training was at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.  He graduated from medical school cum laude and was a member of the AOA honor medical society.  He then trained at the renowned University of California, Davis Medical Center for eight years, including general surgery and plastic surgery. This was followed by completing a fellowship in minimally invasive or endoscopic surgery.

Dr. Saunders has numerous international and national publications on the topics of plastic and cosmetic surgery.  He recently published an acclaimed book titled A Woman's Guide to the "Real-Reality" of Cosmetic Surgery.  He has performed over 10,000 operations in his career. Dr. Christopher Saunders has won numerous awards including Delaware Today's Top Cosmetic Surgeon in years 2007, 2005 and 2002.  He also won the News Journal's Readers Choice Top Plastic Surgeon in 2005 and 2004.

Dr. Saunders has a wife, Alice, and four children Lexi, Margie, David, and James. His interests include travel, sports, and gardening.
